Great Pumpkin Smash

21 scouts from Troop 502 chucked pumpkins, bowled with pumpkins, shot at pumpkins and even ate pumpkins at the Great Pumpkin Smash, held at Firestone Scout Reservation. Highlights included pioneering a bow out of bamboo and twine to shoot a pumpkin with an arrow. With their fine firearm skills, the Jolly Roger Patrol won the overall competition, and brought home the Pumpkin Smash Trophy, aka Bob.
