As part of our ongoing campaign to make Camp Trask even better, we have secured a $5,000 grant to build and install new picnic tables in each of the campsites.
We've made good progress but still need some awesome scout power to get it done!

This will be easy and fun work with lots of opportunities for scouts of different skill levels. And a great chance to earn some service hours.
If you have scouts working toward their Star rank, this project will fulfill their service project requirement - sweet! It also fulfills the conservation-related service requirement for 50 Miler awards!
Our mission
We will be purchasing metal picnic table frames along with wood for the seats and tabletops. We will cut and paint the wood, and then install it on the frame to create a picnic table.
Things to bring
Class B uniform, ten essentials, and work clothes (long pants, closed-toed shoes, and gloves). In addition, we would appreciate any power drills, reciprocating saws, wrenches, hammers, and pliers that can be brought up for the day.
Lunch will be served!
