For the next few weeks there will be some opportunities to get service hours and give back to the community. This will include setting up and cleaning up at the La Canada Public Library for the Fall Book Sale, as well as participating in a Flag Ceremony to Thank a Soldier. The Fall Book Sale will be on the 26 of October, and the Thank a Soldier Event will be on November 2nd. You can sign up for available slots and view more information on the event at the event page:
The Pumpkin Smash Camp Out is on November 22 - 24, and we still have slots available. So if you would like to get some easy camping nights, sign up now. Sign up here before the all the slots are taken.
Yesterday was our Fall Court of Honor at which our scouts were recognized for numerous rank advancements, merit badges and other awards and achievements. Our new youth leaders were inducted into their new positions, and the Philmont crew was recognized for their successful trip this summer.
